Kerala tourism recently organised multiple city shows in Australia and Scandinavian countries to reinforce its image as a global tourist destinations in these markets. The road shows were organised in Sydney and Melbourne in Australia and Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm in Scandinavia. Led by State Tourism Secretary T.K.Manoj Kumar, The delegation comprised of major private players including hotels and tour operators from the Sate.
According to T.K.Manoj Kumar, Tourism Secretary, Kerala, the road shows drew good response from the travel trade community in these countries.
The State tourism launched two new technology-driven schemes : Bring Home a Friend and Audio Guide in the begining of this year to create a buzz about its tourism products in the global travel market.
