Beautiful Munnar

Kerala.com: Good Service,Very helpfull Taxi: Friendly,Good advice and informative. Star Lagoon:Very nice hotel,good service,friendly people.Ernakulam nice place to visit. Hill View: Nice hotel,service was just okey.Munnar is very beautiful place to stay and visit. Indraprastham Houseboat: Friendly people,very good service,good meals,nice trip.

Pearl Green Resort

Hi & Hello to your team, Trip was good, except some glitches from green pearl hotel. apart from that it was a good trip. First of all the Roadway to the green pearl hotel was not to our national standard. on the second day their was road works carried out by some of their neighbours due to this we were delayed. Some of the points to be noted regarding Green Pearl No manager or person incharge was found in this hotel. all we saw was a two young chaps trying to fit in the role of incharge Both the hotel management in Kumily and Green pearl did not get their copy of the bill which was given to me (Guest copy) In green pearl they did not give us the Room Key for the total four rooms You were showing the rose colour cottage as a deluxe and it was booked for us whereas they have offered the blue colour cottage which was not up to the standard No proper room service Even water to be requested otherwise not given Not even the pamplets of the Munnar was provided Hot water was not available in one of the rooms After the order of Food it took them 2 hours to serve us.. Rooms were not cleaned / room service were not done (for the whole stay) Some of the good things to be noted: Munnar as a place excellent Location of the resort was fantastic Food which was provided by them was good Surronding of the resorts were clean and natural Thank you very much hope my point can be looked in and will help you to improve the service from your side and from the hotel management Thank you

Highly Impressed

Hi Jitha, Firstly, let me thank you for arranging our accomodation at Munnar and Cochin during our trip May 15-18. I find you very responsive and efficient. This is my first dealing with kerala.com and I should say I am highly impressed. I will surely come back to you for all my future trips for organizing accomodation and I will have no hesitation recommending your services to my relatives and friends. At Munnar, we stayed at Westwood Riverside Resort. This is a reasonably good hotel, though overpriced in my opinion. The surrounds are excellent with a lot of greenery and the beautiful river flowing closeby. The view from the rooms are breathtaking. My only complaint about this resort, apart from the tariff, is that the food is quite bad. None of us enjoyed it. At Cochin, we stayed at Bharat Hotel(BTH). We thouroughly enjoyed our brief stay here. It is priced very well, the rooms are spacious and clean and the food is out of this world. We simply loved it. I intend to stay in this hotel during all my trips to Cochin in future. I am attaching a few photos of the Westwood Riverside hotel and the surroundings. Once again, thanks for your help.

Kerala Trip

Hi Sonia, This was a wonderful trip which I can not forget for long. But I would like to point out few things which is my observation where you need to look into them and take necessary action for future travelers. 15th May - A/C House Boat This is good and staff also take care of us well. But it seems the boat is very old and all the furniture were not cleaned properly. Lunch was good, but Non-Veg food is limitted and staff were very strict to provide more even for the kid. Night dinner was superb with sufficient Non-Veg item. Evening snacks and morning break-fast was not good as there were no options and we end up by eating what they gave. Better share the menu with the travelers before one day they board the boat and modify the menu accordingly. And top of all, no entertainment. There was a TV but it was useless for us. No audio and video CD/DVD on the boat. Fianlly I would like to say that it was not worth for paying Rs. 7242/- 16th May - Back Water Resort This is good and worth for paid money in all aspects. Very nice place, good ambiance, food etc. 17th and 18th May - Pearl Green The palce is very good and worth for paid money. But no choice of food is available and have to eat what they give. Second day hot water was not provided as their were some problem. Please do not suggest for travelers with family. This is a ideal palce for bachellors and not good for family members. 19th May - Thekkady Tree top This is excellent and worth for paid money. Please suggest for any one who travels to thekkady. This is a very good place for all kind of people and simple superb. Thanks
