A memorable trip to Munnar

Me and my friends had been considering going on a road trip to a location where we could see nature and escape the madding mob and their frantic pursuits for a while. When you watch national geographic or any other program on nature and travel, you may have such a feeling. When some of my friends suggested a trip to Munnar, I quickly said yes since I had such a growing yearning to reinforce our earthling-ness. We had previously enjoyed spending time together and being in each other’s company. So there was something enjoyable to anticipate.

Upon our arrival in Ernakulam, we were received by our travel agent’s representative from Kerala Dot Com who took us to Munnar. Given our estimated 3 hours of driving time, we took several breaks to stretch our legs, to eat some grub, or to use the washrooms. We spotted a site so magnificent that we had to stop. Despite being a little fatigued from travel and having another hour or two of driving ahead of us, the clear mountain air with its distinct smell, the chilly surroundings, and the mist dropping into the valley all lifted our spirits.

By afternoon we reached the Misty Lake Resort. Compared to the other resorts, the greeting we received there was more pleasant. There were uniquely designed cottages surrounded by trees, some of which had abundant floral plants and others yielded delectable fruit. All of the rooms are small, quiet, and private. They are also tastefully equipped, have easy access to all services, and have balconies that overlook a valley and a forested hillside. On moonlight evenings, the cottages' interiors come to life, shining in the silver light that filters through the glass slats of their charming pyramidal roofs that function as skylights. After settling into our accommodations, we had a short shower before heading straight to lunch. The lunch was meticulously prepared taking into account all of our preferences and likes. We had many options there to spend our time. They offered many outdoor activities like cycling, badminton, etc. We spent a lot of time there, but our time by the pool stands out as the most enjoyable. The resort had a more attractive appearance at night. We made the most of every aspect of the resort, including the lighting. The resort had a walkway that was ideal for strolling in the brisk air and beneath the starry sky. We had a hearty supper there to cap off our evening.

The next morning, we got up early to see the dawn while listening to the chirping of birds. Then, followed by that we had our breakfast. Our rooms were to be empty by the afternoon. But our journey didn't finish there. After leaving Misty Lake Resort, we immediately headed to Bison Valley, one of Kerala's greatest tourist destinations noted for its bison population. The Bamboo Dale Resort was one of the best resorts that we can find in Bison Valley. The place that gave us the strongest sense of connection to nature. One of the first things you'll notice about this resort is that most of the things that we found there were constructed of bamboo. They featured a private waterfall which is its main attraction. We played in the waterfall. We spend some time there and then we started our way back. We look forward to book more tour packages with them.

We stopped at the Tea Gardens on the way back, and because they are so stunning and alluring, it was impossible to stop shooting photographs because each new angle was more picturesque than the last. In every way, this vacation exceeded our expectations and left us amazed. We appreciate Kerala Dot Com Travel Division, the company that handled our travel arrangements. They saw to it that we took full use of everything and experienced no delays.
